Anisotropic screen space rendering for particle-based fluid simulation

This paper proposes a real-time fluid rendering method based on the screen space scheme for particle-based simulation. Our applies anisotropic transformations to point sprites stretch along appropriate axes, obtaining smooth surfaces weighted principal components analysis of particle distribution. Then we combine processed sprite information with popular filters like curvature flow and narrow-range process depth information. Experiments show that proposed can efficiently resolve issues jagged edges unevenness surface existed in previous methods while preserving sharp high-frequency details.
